BLUE PLANET SCUBA Long Island

Long Island is a delightful, pristine island, which is quite off the beaten track. This is one of the small villages within the islands with beautiful beaches and plenty of trekking opportunities. Blue Planet is the only resort in Long Island. This is an eco-friendly place. The cottages are simple and made with bamboo, the sitting area is earth quake resistant and made from old plastic and glass bottles. The restaurant is simple and has a small menu, food is cooked fresh on order. The coffee and pancakes are a must have. Blue planet provides 2 types of accommodations – the tree house and the jungle camp. The tree houses are small cottages (both with and without attached bathrooms are available). The jungle camps are a later addition. These are larger, pricier and are for those who enjoy more privacy. A beach perfect for snorkeling is 5 minutes away. Blue planet also offers scuba diving certificate courses. These are by experts and if we were to say, better than many dive centers we have dived at in Havelock. Go to Blue Planet to experience nature in its pure form. Remember this is not the place for luxury or fancy amenities.
